Pattern easy, yarn not so good
Pattern was easy to follow, although not written in the traditional way and the end result was a lovely plump pumpkin. Unfortunately the yarn wasn't great as it frayed at the cut edge and de-fluffed and snapped when trying to sew up.

That is the nature of chenille yarn due to the way its made. The plush fibre is woven between internal threads and twisted tightly in place. Whenever you make a cut those internal threads start to untwist and you get a small amount of whats referred to as shed. Its a more delicate yarn and has to be worked with additional care.
